On the third Thursday of every month, we host a live talkshow discussion with Councillor Garreth Bloor from the City of Cape Town along with some exclusive guests. We are hoping you would join us in a virtual capacity for an event circling around cycling, opportunity and the theme of breaking down barriers.
On the 17th of September, Councillor Garreth Bloor, Head of Economic Development for the City of Cape Town will be hosting a discussion along with acclaimed entrepreneurs Sizwe Nzima, Jeffrey Mulaudzi and cycling legend Douglas Ryder. Starting a health delivery system to the elderly and sick in rural areas with his bicycle, Sizwe now graces the Forbes Top 30 entrepreneurs under 30. Jeffrey, has successfully started a bicycle sharing system in Limpopo, giving children the means to transport to school. Douglas, is of course the old Springbok cycling captain and now the team principal of the cycling team MTN Qhubeka, the first South African team to take part in the Tour de France.
As we are live broadcasting the event, we would love it if you could join us for this evening that promises an immensely interesting discussion alongside three individuals who found their fortunes and passions in cycling. Let’s talk about cycling as the wheels of opportunity and potential!
The aim of these events is to create an open discussion and dialogue between businesses and the City, which is why it will give us great pleasure if you were to join us for this upcoming VIP event. Besides being live-broadcasted, we also invite you to join in on an Q&A as well as networking function after the discussion.
